The rules
Short version: every bid costs a dollar more than the last. Nobody gets a refund.
The price only goes up
Every bid costs a dollar more than the one before it. The first spot went for $1. The next one costs $2. There is no cap and it never goes back down.
Whoever paid most is #1
The board is sorted by amount paid, highest first. Since every bid beats the last one, buying a spot puts you straight on the throne. Same amount? Whoever paid first wins.
One price, no haggling
There is nothing to choose. The next spot costs $2, and after you it costs $3. Everybody pays the price that was live when they bought.
You will get bumped
Somebody will pay more than you. You do not get your money back when they do. Getting bumped is the product.
Nothing gross
Links are sanitized and obviously vile submissions get pulled. No refund for those either.
Payments are final. Getting bumped is part of the game.
